LACIMA Tools — plugins for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
Last updated: 3 October 2026.
1. Your licence
- The licence is personal and perpetual: one licence per person, usable on the machines you personally work on.
- A licence is active on up to 2 computers at a time. Changed computer? Free a slot yourself at license.lacimatools.com/devices (up to 3 times every 30 days; if you need more, just write to us).
- Your key is issued for your purchase and recorded against it. Do not share or resell it.
- It includes all 1.x updates of the plugin you bought.
- The plugin verifies the licence offline and never blocks you without internet. When online, plugins with the 2-computer limit check in with our licence server — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent.
2. What you may do with the output
Everything the plugin produces from your own artwork is yours, with no further conditions: commercial work, client work, games you sell. We claim nothing over it and ask for no credit.
3. What you may not do
Redistribute, resell or repackage the plugin itself; circumvent or remove the licence check; or publish a modified copy.
4. Refunds
Within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Write to the address below with the email you bought with. If you bought through a store with its own refund flow (itch.io, or FastSpring for the Adobe Creative Cloud Marketplace) that flow works too, and this promise applies on top of it, not instead.
4a. Who sells to you on lacimatools.com
Our order process on lacimatools.com is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for those orders: Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice or receipt, collects and pays the sales tax or VAT, and processes refunds. The plugins, the licences and product support are ours. On itch.io and on the Adobe Creative Cloud Marketplace the seller is that store or its payment provider, as shown at checkout.
5. Support
Support is by email and is provided for the plugin as sold. We will try to help with your specific setup, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with future host application versions we have not seen. If a host update breaks a plugin, fixing it is our job and is covered by your licence.
6. Warranty and liability
The plugins are provided as they are. We test them on the host versions listed on the product page, but we cannot promise they will be fit for a purpose we do not know about. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
7. Third-party components
Our plugins include TweetNaCl.js (public domain) for signature verification. Any other third-party component is listed in the plugin's own documentation.
8. Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Changes apply to purchases made after the change; the terms you bought under keep applying to your licence.
